Hi folks,

At midnight, we face an important fundraising deadline for our campaign, so I wanted to take a moment to explain why these emails are so important.

Most elected officials have to spend too much time in cramped rooms calling donors for money. I’m no different. Believe me, I’d much rather be out connecting with folks across the state. 

That’s why this email and others like it are so important. Grassroots contributions to emails like this free me up to spend even more time fighting for North Carolinians and doing everything I can to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot in our state.

So, tonight’s fundraising deadline truly matters, and that’s why I’m personally asking you to make a contribution today:
