We got some explosive news last week.

It was already clear that Ginni Thomas — who’s married to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas — was involved in Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 elections. But now, new reporting exposes how far she went.

Newly released texts from Ginni Thomas to Trump’s chief of staff show her spreading false theories about the election, urging him to pull off a coup, and trying to give him pointers.

And here’s where Clarence Thomas comes in: earlier this year, he was the only Supreme Court justice to vote against requiring that Trump White House records be turned over to the January 6th House Select Committee. Records that might have included those texts from his wife.

But he didn’t disclose anything about his connection to the case, and he sure didn’t recuse himself. He may have violated federal conflict-of-interest law.

Your support means a lot in this fight. Add your name if you agree: Clarence Thomas can’t participate in any more cases about the efforts to overturn the 2020 election, and it’s way past time for the Supreme Court to have to follow a basic Code of Ethics.

I’ve been in this fight for a long time to clear up conflicts of interest at the Supreme Court — and with you by my side, I’m going to stay in it.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Elizabeth
