Here we go, team.

TJ's race to keep CA-21 blue was just called a "tossup" by the elections forecasters at POLITICO.

We're not surprised. Despite being outspent heavily by Republican super PACs in 2018, we flipped this seat by just 862 votes. We're expecting this race to be close once again.

Only this time our race will likely be more expensive. David Valadao is raising a serious cash with help from special interests in Washington and Trump-allies Rep. Devin Nunes and Kevin McCarthy. He outraised us last quarter thanks to the $60,000 he received from corporate PACs.

This race can go either way, so we're doing everything we can to prepare early and avoid being outspent. We need your support:

Will you make a $3 donation to our campaign today? We'll put your contributions to work organizing on the ground to keep CA-21 blue.

We've already seen the lengths Valadao will go to win. He's halted virtually all campaign events in favor of high-dollar fundraisers to fill his coffers and attack TJ on the airwaves.

That's not the approach we'll take, but since we've sworn off corporate PAC money, we're depending on grassroots support to defend against Valadao's attacks and reach voters early.

That's how we win. And it's why your support today is so crucial.

So, thanks in advance for chipping in,

Team TJ
