Email your Representative urging them to vote YES so we can pass the MORE Act in the House and take our fight for marijuana justice to the Senate. And to make sure your voice is heard loud and clear, follow-up with a quick phone call to your Representative at (202) 224-3121 and say: I'm calling to urge my Representative to vote YES on the MORE Act (H.R. 3617) when it comes to the House floor. It's the only bill that will end federal marijuana prohibition, repair the damage it’s done to communities, and ensure social equity and justice. Most people like me support federal reform so I hope you will vote YES to pass the MORE Act. Thank you. The vast majority of the public strongly supports ending marijuana prohibition which has ruined lives and criminalized entire communities for far too long. Federal reform has lagged behind, but the MORE Act moving shows that we’re finally forcing Congress to catch up with us. It’s the only bill that will decriminalize marijuana to end federal marijuana prohibition while prioritizing equity and justice every step of the way and repairing harms through expungement, resentencing, and community reinvestment. Marijuana prohibition is the cornerstone of the cruel and inhumane drug war that has robbed millions of people of their freedom and livelihoods, disproportionately devastating Black, Latinx, Indigenous, and low-income communities. To truly end prohibition and all its harms, equity and justice must be front and center. We took a major step toward that over a year ago with our historic victory when the House passed the MORE Act for the first time. But our fight is far from over and we’re relying on you to pass it again to keep moving marijuana justice forward nationwide. With a House vote imminent, time is running out so please take action immediately to help us pass the MORE Act in the House this week!
