Dear NRDC Activist,
Each day, we lose more of our forests to logging and deforestation due to corporate greed. But it's not just the trees that we lose.
We lose critical habitat for wild species already on the brink of extinction ... ancestral lands that Indigenous communities have relied on for centuries ... and a critical defense against climate change. And once forests are destroyed, they never return in the same way again.
Tonight is the deadline to help NRDC reach our $220,000 goal. But our records show that you haven't contributed to help us reach that goal.
Make a gift today to help us raise $220,000. We'll put these resources to work protecting old-growth forests from corporate exploitation and more. Please don't wait: Pitch in just $5 or more now!

Our forests face dire threats from corporate polluters.
In Canada, Procter & Gamble continues to flush away the irreplaceable boreal forest for their toilet paper products ... In Alaska, logging companies are chomping at the bit to transform the pristine Tongass National Forest into stump fields and destroy the carbon-absorbing trees for profit ... And in North Carolina and Virginia, Enviva is degrading critical forests to produce and export wood pellets that are burned overseas for electricity.
NRDC is fighting back with everything we've got — from powering aggressive legal action to hold polluters accountable to mobilizing massive grassroots support to protect our vital forests and ecosystems. But we need your help today to:
- Power shareholder advocacy to pressure Proctor & Gamble to end their practice of mowing down the boreal for toilet paper. Donate today.
- Push the Biden administration to reverse Trump-era giveaways to logging companies and restore crucial protections to threatened wild places like the Tongass. Help us reach our $220,000 goal before midnight.
- Partner with Indigenous activists who are leading these fights and mobilize a global public outcry against corporations hell-bent on doing irreversible damage to our forests. This work can't happen without you.
MIDNIGHT DEADLINE
Thank you for fighting alongside us,
