I wanted to reach out one last time before the month ends to reflect on the journey we’ve taken together so far in 2022. But before I do, I have to ask: Can you chip in $35 before the day ends so that we can put forward a strong public report at the end of this month? Ever since Washington Republicans put CT-02 on their list of districts they are targeting to win back in 2022, we’ve seen dishonest dark money groups pour money into our district in an attempt to lie to voters and change the narrative.
They think they can fool voters in eastern Connecticut into ignoring the past year that House Republicans spent attempting to block every single piece of legislation President Biden and Democratic leaders proposed. Important legislation that I was proud to vote for that helped people right here in the Nutmeg State: investing in our infrastructure, creating good-paying American jobs, making sure our schools have the resources needed to stay open, and taking steps to protect our environment.
John, Washington Republicans just don’t know eastern Connecticut. They don’t understand our needs and concerns, and they don’t deliver meaningful change. I do, and I want to continue to be your voice in Congress, but I can’t do it without your help.
Let’s send a message to Kevin McCarthy and Washington Republicans that eastern Connecticut is not up for grabs. Will you join me in taking a stand by chipping in $35 today to my campaign before tonight’s public fundraising deadline?
