Dear John
Co-leaders Carla Denyer and Adrian Ramsey are coming to London to launch the Green Party local election campaign.
The launch will be on Tuesday 5th April in Lambeth.
This is a big moment for London, the borough elections only happen every fours years so we have a few weeks to make a big difference.
The London Assembly election results showed that people want to vote Green, with our best results ever in 2021. In many boroughs the Green Party is in close second and you can help by offering a few hours of your time to make sure our candidate wins!
In Dalston, Hackney, the Greens missed out by just 21 votes last time, and by only 73 Votes in Highbury Islington and there were many other very close results all over London in 2018.
In just two hours one volunteer can knock enough doors or deliver enough leaflets to change the results of an election where it is close.
Get involved with a campaign near you and make a difference this May.
The Action Days where your time will make the greatest difference are shared here:
After May 5th the local elections will be over and we'll have to wait another 4 years to bring much needed change to our borough councils. ?
Green councillors are so important in local government, they stand up for the values we all believe in and make real changes, so please support some of our hardworking and inspirational candidates in the next 5 weeks.
We have big ambitions for London, and real change is possible but only with your help.
