Biden Wants Blank Check to Fund Open Borders Immigration Priorities <[link removed]> - The Biden administration is publicly proud of its open border policies and seeks to “expand on the historic progress” it has made over the past year to spend even more taxpayer money in 2023 to process even
more illegal aliens into the country and grant them asylum. In his statement <[link removed]> for President Joe Biden’s $97.3 billion Department of Homeland Security budget request <[link removed]>, Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas makes an obligatory reference to safeguarding the
American people and securing our borders against terrorists, transnational criminal organizations, and other threats. However, his department’s proposed budget clearly shows the administration wants the American taxpayer to fund more illegal immigration and provide illegal immigrants legal status through asylum. Putin Is Smiling: Why Did Biden Cancel The Navy’s New Nuclear Cruise Missile? <[link removed]> - It has been no secret that Biden desires to reduce the role of nuclear weapons <[link removed]> in U.S. strategy. But this decision completely ignores the reality of the nuclear threats we are facing today. When it comes to national security, political promises cannot take priority. In fact, given Russia’s nuclear threats, not to mention China’s massive nuclear expansion <[link removed]>, the Administration should be
asking what more we need to add <[link removed]> to our nuclear arsenal, not what can be cut. Now it is up to Congress to reverse the president’s decision and provide the funding needed to accelerate the sea-launched cruise missile in its upcoming appropriations cycle. Nuclear weapons are no longer a concern of the past, as much as we may wish that to be so. Despite Biden’s ill-considered policy, Congress can right the ship. Disney exec cops to advancing ‘gay agenda’ by ‘adding queerness’ to shows <[link removed]> - The leaked videos of the Disney executive meeting reveal starkly what many of us have long suspected. Disney, like many other major corporations, are bending over backward to satisfy the demands of radical gender activists. We’re rightly more disturbed by this with Disney because children and their parents are Disney’s key customers. What’s especially striking is that these Disney actions are a response to a Florida bill, the Parental Rights in Education (HB 1557) that the public supports by wide margins. Based on its actions, we can assume that Disney supports introducing topics related to sex to five-year-old children. We can also conclude that Disney opposes school transparency for parents of school children. It’s important to realize that these corporate efforts are not being done grudgingly. Disney has top employees dedicated to the cause who, when they think no one is watching, will explain that they’re working to package gender ideology for their young audiences. It’s not a far-fetched conspiracy theory to say that well-placed gender ideologues want to catechize and recruit your children. It’s happening right before our eyes. Parents should act accordingly. Here’s What We Know about Judge Jackson’s Record on Child-Pornography Sentences <[link removed]> – As America’s founders designed <[link removed]> it, the Senate’s role in the judicial-appointment process is to prevent the appointment of “unfit characters” by identifying “special and strong reasons” why a nominee should not be appointed. Every Senator must determine whether, based on this and other issues, those reasons apply regarding Jackson’s nomination to replace Justice Stephen Breyer. Doing so requires accurate and complete information rather than spin and distraction. When it comes to child-pornography crimes, Jackson’s record includes downplaying their seriousness followed by a consistent pattern of lenient sentences. Youth Mental Health Crisis Gives More Urgency to School Choice
Movement  <[link removed]>- K-12 students today are facing challenges related to learning losses,
politicized curriculums, and an exacerbated mental health crisis on top of the standard challenges that come along with growing up. Although unique to their generation, they are not impossible to navigate through and heal from. Lawmakers can help by giving parents the ability to access whatever resources best allow their child to succeed in school and in life. Heritage Expert: Jonathan Butcher <[link removed]>
