I’ll keep this quick, John. There’s a whole lot going on in Georgia right now, with a lot of important offices up for election this year, so as Executive Director of the Democratic Party of Georgia, I’ve got a lot of work to do. So if you’re already with us, and you know what our plan is to win in Georgia, pitch in right now ahead of our End-of-Quarter deadline.
But it’s really important that I reach out this morning, so if you’re a coffee drinker like me, read over this with your morning coffee:
Today is the last day of our End-of-Quarter goal push, and that’s a huge deal because it’ll determine the budget choices I have to make for the rest of the campaign cycle. If we don’t hit our goal, I’ll have to make cuts, and we won’t be able to do everything we possibly can to win.
That might sound drastic, but it’s the truth.
I’m not one for exaggerations, so here’s the basic facts:
Georgia was the key to winning the presidential election in 2020 and the Senate in 2021.
Sen. Reverend Warnock is the most vulnerable incumbent Democratic senator this year.
We have a real opportunity to flip the governor’s office and make history by electing the first Black woman governor.
We need a whole lot of resources to accomplish our goals, and if we don’t get the resources we need right now, it’ll be difficult to build momentum later on.
So please, I know it’s early in the morning, but hopefully you read this over with your coffee and you’re ready to pitch in and help us keep Georgia blue this year.
