Texans are famous for their devotion to personal freedom. So why are we letting legislators get between a woman and her doctor?

Kim Olson for Congress

Hey Jack xxxxxx,

Have you seen this:

Texas Tribune Headline: Anti-abortion law spreads in East Texas as sanctuary city for the unborn movement expands

Texas is becoming a far less welcoming place for women under the Trump administration. Anti-abortion laws, like this one making Plan B illegal, are forcing women to travel over 250 miles to get reproductive healthcare. This is a disgrace.

Throughout my time in the military, I’ve deployed to all corners of the world, including to countries that considered women to be second-class citizens. And right now, Texas leads in infant mortality, underinsured, and backward laws that target and impede women’s access to healthcare.

My campaign is built on the idea of equality, but anti-abortion extremists want to take this option away from Texas women. Help us fight back by hitting our two-day $5,000 goal by tomorrow night!

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

We have to make sure Texas has the pro-choice leadership to counter these efforts by local governments and hardliners in the State House and show that Texans will fight for equality.

My background speaks for itself here. I have fought my entire career for women to be treated equally and with respect in all walks of life, so you can rest assured that I’ll fight for women’s healthcare and won’t let anyone take away a woman’s right to choose when I’m in Washington.

Donate to my campaign today to show the country that these anti-abortion laws have no home in Texas.

Over and out,

Kim Olson
