On today’s episode of the Shifty Schiff Show, tv viewers saw Gordon Sondland, U.S. ambassador to the European Union, testify.
Context: Sondland delivered a private deposition before Schiff’s basement star chamber inquiry back on October 17, testifying that he told Bill Taylor, the U.S. Charge d’affaires for Ukraine, that President Trump sought “nothing from Ukraine and that there was ‘no quid pro quo’” during the President’s July 25 telephone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Earlier, U.S. diplomat David Holmes testified he overheard a July 26 call in which President Trump mentioned “the investigations” to Sondland – alleging the reference referred to Trump’s request for Ukraine to investigate allegations of corruption on Hunter and Joe Biden.
