In the months since Republicans took control of the Governor's mansion and House of Delegates, our work to protect fundamental rights – including voting access – has been relentlessly attacked and the integrity of our Commonwealth questioned.

Republicans made multiple attempts to limit access at the ballot box by rolling back key voting rights legislation, to push anti-trans legislation in our public schools, to censor both books and basic American history, and so much more.

Because of a Democratic-held Senate, we were able to stop these extremist bills in their tracks. But right now, my Senate seat is a prime target for the GOP in an attempt to flip Virginia’s last line of defense red.
