But prior to the passage of this bill, due to a lawsuit and consent agreement, some county recorders were ACCEPTING federal voter registrations WITHOUT proof of citizenship.
More than 11,600 even cast a ballot in Arizona during the 2020 Election… IN AN ELECTION THAT JOE BIDEN “WON” BY LESS THAN 11,000 VOTES!
Clearly, we had to take action.
So bold fighters in our party continued to fight on this front - along with the support of grassroots conservatives like YOU - and now the Governor has just signed this BIG, first-in-the-nation legislation into law.
