Friend, I don't want to see Mitch McConnell back in charge, and I know you don't either. But things just went from bad to worse in my race, which will decide Senate control:

First, polling showed me 3 points behind my opponent – a far-right extremist who was handpicked by Mitch McConnell and who Donald Trump is personally fundraising for.

Then, FiveThirtyEight's Nate Silver called Nevada one of the seats Republicans are most likely to flip – which would give them the ONE seat they need to take back Senate control.

Now, with only 24 hours to go until the official FEC fundraising deadline, my finance director just called to tell me we're not on track to meet our $200,000 end-of-quarter goal. I talked to Jacky Rosen, and she said I should reach out to you right away.

I'm telling you all this because I need your help, friend. Falling short now could cost us this race and the Senate majority. But if everyone I'm reaching out to right now – including you – gives just $5, I know we can reach our goal and defend this must-win seat. Please, can I count on you?

We can’t let McConnell retake control – not this year, not EVER. So will you please split $5 or more between my reelection campaign and Jacky Rosen's by midnight? Your help to defend the Democratic Senate majority could not be more critical.
