I’m only the majority leader of the U.S. Senate because of a single seat. Think about that: If Democrats lose just one Senate seat and five House seats in November’s midterm elections, we’d essentially cede control to Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy -- and put all of the progress we have made at risk.

That’s why we cannot be complacent in this election. The DNC is already investing in the organizing, grassroots infrastructure, and voter protection efforts that will be critical to protecting and expanding our slim congressional majorities. Those essential programs depend on your full backing ahead of the DNC’s end-of-quarter deadline.

When Democrats took back the White House, Senate, and held the House last cycle, we went right to work delivering much needed relief for working families with the American Rescue Plan and making historic investments to our nation’s infrastructure with the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. We’ve made significant progress, but to keep it up, I need even more Democrats by my side in Congress.
