We’ve been petitioning to get me on the ballot and preparing for the June primary elections along with the formal kickoff of my re-election campaign. Now we’re facing another challenge – the end of the first quarter of the election year.
We've had a very busy March, team!
We’ve been petitioning to get my name on the ballot and preparing for the June primary elections along with the formal kickoff of my re-election campaign. Now we’re facing another challenge – the end of the first quarter of the election year.
The end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is not only when my team publishes our public finance report, but it’s also a critical time to begin preparing for canvassing our neighborhoods and growing our campaign ahead of the summer.
If we can show an outpouring of support for my campaign, it will signal to everyone just how unified the people of Brooklyn are behind our progressive values. It will also give my team the resources they need to build up a strong field campaign.
This deadline is so important. Our work is far from over in the fight for affordable housing, Medicare for all, immigrants’ rights, and so much more.
