Dear John,
In our April edition of the African Harvest newsletter sent by mail, you will receive a copy of an AE ministry brochure, which I encourage you to share with your mission committee, fellowship group and friends. This will be one way you might assist AE enlist new prayer and mission partners as we emerge from covid lockdowns. Copies are available from the team here too via
[email protected], including the latest mission dates bookmark. It is truly a joy to serve in mission together, and to learn new cultures.
It's a milestone for AE this year, celebrating 60 years of kingdom building initiatives, and you will hear more about it on Hope 103.2 radio, Eternity news, Vision Radio and in our communications including team leaders and Michael Cassidy. To celebrate, the Team Leaders in Africa are running special outreach missions in each country, and there is a Pan-African Mission being held in Zambia which has limited spots for those who would like to attend and join our mission teams in Africa 24th August – 5th Sept 2022 (email
[email protected] to express interest). This will particular suit future ambassadors of AE who see first-hand the bold witness of African evangelists and volunteers.
I have appreciated the emails of supporters, prayer and phone calls as I move onto the next assignment God has called me to, running a national training and development association from April 4. Thank you so much for bringing hundreds of thousands of people into a relationship with Jesus through your support of the African Enterprise ministry, and to radically change the lives of vulnerable people through vocational programs, trauma healing, water and sanitation, medical clinics and so much more. We are growing the new generation of leaders in Africa through being a catalyst for holistic mission, mobilising the church to be a light in their community and grow the family of believers.
Please also pray for the Board of AE and the team members who will be looking for a new CEO. One thing I want to assure you of is that your prayers for our ministry are felt, and the Lord has worked through many situations to His glory. We are seeing good feedback and support for what we are doing, and we are encouraged by every donation received, encouraging note sent and work in faith that we are completing the assignment God has called us to. I’m delighted to advise that an Interim CEO Jorge Rodrigues will be walking alongside the team here and board until a new leader is found. Please keep him in your prayers also.
God bless you and I look forward to encouraging the whole AE family as immediate past CEO, in consultation with future leaders here and in Africa, helping to ensure that we maximise the impact of every dollar sent for mission and development to God’s glory.
Regards,
Ben

Michael Cassidy Reflects on Partner's Support to AE
AE is blessed with the fact that there have been many people, and still are, who have supported us through decades, and some even since our inception in the early 60’s. This is an immense privilege and AE needs to register this with great gratitude to the Lord and to those long-term donors who are still alive.

AE Institute of Evangelism
Lack of support for Evangelists continues to have a negative impact on the church, and can lead to the preaching of a false gospel. An academic qualification is a requirement in most fields today; and Evangelists are not exempt.
