Friends — few members of Congress command more respect for their accomplishments than my good friend, House Democratic Whip Jim Clyburn.

The first Black South Carolinian elected to Congress since Reconstruction, Whip Clyburn has rebuilt the modern South Carolina Democratic Party from the ground up.

He led the charge to invest in rural health care and clean drinking water in the Affordable Care Act, and helped flip the House majority that has delivered unprecedented progress to the American people since President Biden took office.

But Democrats only hold a 5-seat majority in the House and a 1-seat Senate majority that we can’t afford to lose, so we can’t spare a single expense to keep Democrats in the majority when Republicans will say or spend whatever it takes to flip Congress.
