John — Tomorrow’s our first end-of-quarter FEC deadline of 2022, so we wanted to update you on where things stand.

The good news: Hundreds of grassroots donors have stepped up in the past week to kick-off Barbara’s re-election campaign. We’re making critical progress, and the donations coming in the door will help us recruit more volunteers, build out our field team, and mobilize voters before the primary.

The bad news: With less than 48 hours to go before we have to close the books on our end-of-quarter deadline and start preparing our public report for the FEC, we are going to miss our donor goal unless we pick up the pace.

A weak fundraising showing from an established campaign like ours could spell trouble for Democrats. It could be the extra motivation Republican donors need to keep fueling the far-right efforts to flip seats Red and retake control of the House.

Barbara’s not one to back down from the fight for what’s right and she’s determined as ever to defend our progress. But she can’t do it without your help — chip in today to help us reach our grassroots donor goal before Thursday.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

With your support, we can make a statement with our quarterly fundraising report that our movement is as strong as ever and our campaign is prepared for the difficult election cycle ahead.

Thank you for being a part of this team,

— Team Barbara Lee
