John,
Monday night, Morgan faced off against corporate-backed Tim Ryan in the
first and ONLY Ohio U.S. Senate debate for Democratic candidates.
We wish there were more opportunities to talk about the issues with
Congressman Ryan but his campaign has been unwilling to engage in more
debates. [ [link removed] ]Morgan is not afraid to fight for working Ohioans anytime, any
place. If you’re ready to help Morgan ensure victory in the May 3 primary
election, make your $5 contribution here to power our
movement.
Morgan took this opportunity to call out Ryan on his corporate-backed
campaign and agenda — from taking $400,000 from defense industry
contractors to accepting money from FirstEnergy, the company embroiled in
the largest bribery scandal in Ohio history.^1
Ryan claims he supports union workers. But, how is taking hundreds of
thousands of dollars in corporate money supporting workers? Morgan is
proud to actually advocate for everyday workers, as she made clear on the
debate stage:
“To the workers of the state of Ohio, I want you to know very clearly, I
stand on your side, and I don’t need to take money from management to do
that.”
Morgan made it clear to Ohioans that she’s on the side of the people, not
corporations.
[ [link removed] ]But now we’re facing an important fundraising deadline, our last end of
quarter before the primary election. And we’re still short of where we
need to be to hit our goal before midnight tomorrow.
John, can we
count on your $5 contribution today to help get us over the
finish line and power our movement to victory on May 3?

We can’t do this without you. Thank you for your support today, and every
day.
