It's Smitty, Gerry's wife, and I am reaching out to our incredible supporters across the Commonwealth and asking for just a moment of your time.
I know better than anyone how hard Gerry works everyday for the 11th District and our country, and one of the things that keeps him (and myself) going are the incredible messages of support and appreciation he receives. With Gerry's birthday coming up tomorrow, I thought it would be a sweet present if you would join me in signing his birthday card!
I have been doing this for a couple of years now, and we have gotten thousands of heartfelt notes about Gerry and his work. Many highlight their gratitude for Gerry's advocacy for federal employees and Postal Service workers, his work expanding health care coverage, protecting the environment, and defending democracy both at home and abroad. I hope you agree with me that we need to keep Gerry in Congress representing the people and values of Northern Virginia.
