Hi, it’s Samantha, Ayanna’s Finance Director. You’re a key part of our people-powered movement, so I want to give you a critical campaign update.
On March 31st, our campaign is required to publicly report how much money we’ve raised over the past three months.
We set an ambitious goal to raise $125,000 by the end of the quarter, so that, when the report is made public, people can clearly see the power of our movement — and especially because potential opponents will be gauging the strength of our campaign based on our fundraising.
Ayanna’s bold, activist leadership has made her a target of conservatives and the far-right, who in recent years have spent tens of thousands of dollars to spread disinformation about Ayanna and our movement.
It’s clear the GOP is gearing up for the 2022 elections in November. That’s why it’s so critical that we show everyone just how strong our movement is.
