Yesterday you heard from Heidi about why our work is so critical, but I want to reiterate: we remain in a major crisis.
This moment is the culmination of a four-decade-long GOP political strategy to invest in down-ballot races and templated legislation and to win elections by mobilizing an anti-choice, misogynist, racist, and nationalist minority.
But we have the opportunity to FINALLY match that investment on the left.
John, if you’re able, please help us change the makeup of state and local legislatures so we can protect the body autonomy and basic rights of millions of people in our prochoice nation.
Our work is foundational, and it is necessary to protect both reproductive healthcare access AND the full spectrum of reproductive freedom.
We know that we cannot depend on the Supreme Court to protect us, so we have to do the work to coach and elect prochoice champions at the state and local levels, especially for the 58% of people who live in a place that is hostile to their reproductive freedom.
Reproductive rights are human rights. Help us protect them with a gift of any size.
