World Bipolar Day Hello John, To celebrate World Bipolar Day, help us hold the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) accountable for not doing enough research on how to help people with bipolar disorder. Treatment Advocacy Center Founder Dr. E. Fuller Torrey and board president Dr. Michael Knable wrote about this failure last September in the Journal of Affective Disorders. Their study reported that fewer than 10% of bipolar-related NIMH research grants are likely, within 20 years, to help anyone who currently has bipolar disorder. That's a disgrace. Our loved ones with bipolar disorder need help now. Your generous support of Treatment Advocacy Center helps us hold the country's leaders accountable. Help us keep up the fight here. Thank you, as always, for your invaluable support of our mission. Best, Treatment Advocacy Center Staff Thank you for your continued support of the Treatment Advocacy Center.
