Tomorrow night, we will close the books on our end-of-quarter deadline and then, our team will compile a report to send to the Federal Election Commission, detailing how much we have raised and how many people have chipped in. Shortly after, that report will be public.

But it’s not just us, every candidate for federal office will send their fundraising numbers to the FEC — it’s all part of an effort to keep politicians honest about how their campaigns are funded. And I’ve got to tell you folks, I’m really proud of what our report says about this team.

It says that our team is powered by folks like you who chip in what you can, when you can, because you believe in what we’re fighting for — from protecting voting rights to taking action to address climate change.

But as a freshman Senator, our report will be under close watch. And with a Senate seat up for grabs here in Colorado, I don’t want to give Mitch McConnell a reason to think our momentum in 2020 was just a fluke and that our state is ripe for the taking.
