Meet some of our great local endorsed candidates

Hi John,

In troubling political times, I draw hope and inspiration from people running for local office to make their communities a better place.

The spring election has no shortage of such people. If elected, these candidates will make our state a better place for all of us – a Wisconsin with cleaner water, cleaner energy sources, and a more equitable, inclusive democracy.

Wisconsin Conservation Voters endorsed over 100 candidates for the spring election – each one uniquely qualified and who shares your values. We are excited about all of them, and want to introduce you to a few.

Eric Olson for Portage County Executive
Eric Olson has dedicated his life and career to clean water and conservation. As a lakes specialist, he has what it takes to make sure everyone has access to clean drinking water, and will make Portage County a healthy and vibrant community for all.

Amanda Chu for Brown County District 3
Amanda Chu has been a champion for climate justice since being elected to local office. She will keep working to ensure Brown County has clean water, is climate resilient, and continues its clean energy transition.

Israel Del Toro for Appleton City Council District 4
Israel Del Toro is a Lawrence University professor – an expert on bees! On Appleton City Council, he will be a key ally on our campaigns, helping move the city to 100 percent clean energy, make voting accessible, and build a thriving, healthy city.

Together, we can elect these candidates and build a brighter future for our state.
