Hey Jack!

This past weekend, I spoke at the Arkansas Chapter of the National Association of Social Workers’ annual conference about why social workers’ core values (service, social justice, dignity of the person, importance of human relationships, integrity, & competence) are exactly what we need in government. 🗳

It was so energizing, even though I *did* trip on stage. I’m fine ;-)

Campaigning is a balancing act -- I LOVE talking about these issues, but it also means that’s time I can’t be fundraising. My team and I are hard at work ahead of our first quarter filing deadline, but we have catching up to do so we don’t fall short this month.

As one of the Democrats at the top of the ticket this November, I want to do my best to support and amplify down-ballot candidates in Arkansas. We’ve got to work extra hard to be able to do that. In comparison, Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be up at the top of the GOP ticket with one of the SIX Republican candidates running for Lt. Gov against me.

Safe to say, we’ve got some ground to cover. That’s why I’m reaching out to you personally to ask you for support before our Q1 deadline on Thursday. (That's tomorrow. 😬)
