Our district is on the NRCC's target list, and the Cook Political Report has rated it as vulnerable to a takeover. With IL-06 clearly in play this cycle, Democrats need to nominate the strongest possible candidate – and that's Marie.

Tomorrow's FEC deadline is the first public test of our standing of 2022, and we need to raise $4,940 more to show that momentum is behind us. Will you donate $5 – or whatever you can – to help us close the gap and reach our goal?

Marie's shown that she can build a massive grassroots campaign and bring new folks into the political process. She's built a record of success centered on improving access to transit and easing the economic burden on working families. We will need her record and message if we want to withstand the wave of GOP attacks coming later this year.

Democrats win when we inspire voters, grow the electorate, and can point to concrete results on policies that impact people's lives. There's no question that Marie has this winning formula.
