John,
Three months ago, we launched our 254 County Mobilization Plan to elect Beto.
Now, with less than 48 hours to reach our $1,200,000 end-of-quarter goal, we want to remind you why this plan is so important.
Remember: In order to build a winning coalition of voters in Texas to elect Beto, we need a budget for organizing and advertising in every single one of our state’s 254 counties. No place is too small, too Republican, or too anything for our campaign to go and put in the work to win.
The first thing we did when we launched our Mobilization Plan back in December was to assign a team of grassroots supporters to sponsor each county. According to our records, you’ve been assigned to Frio County, John. Today, we’re hoping you and your team will work together to support our organizing there.
There are 8,764 registered voters so far in Frio County. We think it will cost roughly $4,382.00 to reach every voter in Frio County, which comes out to about $0.50 per voter. Can Beto count on your help to reach Frio County voters? ⇢ Make a $25 donation to reach 50 voters in Frio County. ⇢ Make a $50 donation to reach 100 voters in Frio County. ⇢ Make a $100 donation to reach 200 voters in Frio County. |
It’s true that most Texans live in our state’s biggest cities and counties. But you cannot expect to win in a state like Texas if you write off the small or rural counties, which are vital to the future of this state.
Because many of these places have voted reliably Republican over the last two decades, you’ve seen state and national Democrats write them off. And because those Democrats stopped showing up, Republicans didn’t have to either. There was no competition for votes.
Our 254 County Mobilization plan gives us a BIG edge. You would be surprised at how many people will vote with us if given a chance to hear from our campaign. In counties where most people vote Republican, competing for votes will help us close the margins. And in counties that often vote Democrat, showing up and organizing will help us increase our margins.
But the plan only works if we can raise enough money to organize, advertise, and show up in all 254 counties. Can you help us reach every voter in Frio County by pitching in any amount before tomorrow’s end-of-quarter deadline?
Thank you for considering a donation to reach the 8,764 registered voters of Frio County. This is what a true grassroots campaign looks like. Talking to everyone, writing no one off, and competing for every vote.
