Republicans saw a double-digit swing in their favor in VA-10 last November, and the district is now a top NRCC target. If Republicans defeat Jennifer, they'll almost certainly have taken the House majority. And here's what we'd face from a GOP House majority:

• Efforts to subvert democracy in the next election
• Science-denying extremists in charge of committees that are supposed to help protect our environment
• Dangerous brinkmanship with government funding and the debt ceiling
• A hard barrier against any legislation that boosts working families, protects rights, and expands opportunity

Republicans continue to propose extreme policies like raising taxes on working families and gutting the Affordable Care Act. Some have even declared the events of January 6, 2021, to be "legitimate political discourse." The idea of them controlling the congressional agenda is chilling.

But I'm turning my fear of all this into motivation to work harder than ever to ensure that it doesn't happen. And a key part is making sure Jennifer meets all of her fundraising goals – including getting Jennifer to her FEC goal by Thursday's deadline.
