Yesterday, my team launched a $12,500 rapid response goal to counter a $7 million attack campaign from a dark money group called American Action Network.

If that name sounds familiar to you, it’s because this is now the third time they’ve attacked our campaign in the past month alone. We’ve been at the top of their target list for a while now for two obvious reasons:

1. They know how close our election was in 2018. We defeated our special interest-backed opponent by a narrow margin last year, so the DC establishment thinks spending heavily now will make the difference come Election Day 2020.

2. And, they know that since our victory, my time in Congress has been spent serving real folks like you -- not DC insiders like them. I’m putting Maine interests above special interests every day, and that makes these dark money groups mad.

John, I try to only reach out to you when it’s absolutely necessary because I know how valuable your time is -- and today is one of those days that I really need your help.
