Let’s break this down:

This November’s midterm elections could be an opportunity to re-elect defenders of democracy like Jena Griswold and Jocelyn Benson, and elect new champions like Cisco Aguilar and Chelsea Clark.

But if we fall short of this goal and fail to invest in these must-win races, November could be the end of our democracy as we know it.

For every Democratic voting-rights defender running, there is also a far-right, ‘big lie’ supporting extremist.

John, you don’t need me to tell you that the consequences of their victory would be disastrous for our democracy.

To make matters worse, our opponents at the RSLC raised an astonishing $33 million last year from big corporations and far-right interest groups, which they’re already using to tear down our Democratic Secretaries ahead of November.

In order to fight back, we MUST hit our $75,000 grassroots goal. It might not seem like much compared to the huge sums that the far-right is raising, but when regular folks like you committed to democracy pitch in $10 or $20 at a time, we’re building a grassroots movement that can stand up to the far-right and win this November.
