As chair of the House Democratic Caucus, part of my job is to help protect our most vulnerable House seats. Jared is a Marine who served combat tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan, former Democratic Assistant Majority Leader of the Maine House of Representatives, and father – and he has been a relentless advocate for the people of Maine’s Second District over the last few years.

He isn’t afraid to buck the party line to get things done, and he always looks out for the needs of working families in his district, not special interests. John, we need more independent leaders like Jared in Congress.

But right now, the GOP establishment is set on unseating Jared and flipping his seat red. He’s at the top of their list of targets to beat in November, and they’ve already invested over $2.5 million to mislead voters in his district.
