Friend,

Tomorrow is my husband Patrick's birthday, and it's a special one: the last one he will celebrate as a sitting senator.

I'm hoping you can help me make it extra-meaningful for him. Representing the people of Vermont and serving the American people has been the honor of Patrick's life. I know nothing would mean more to him than hearing from his supporters and many friends he's met along the way.

Will you take a moment to sign Patrick's birthday card? You're also welcome to leave him a note to share with him your best wishes.

While Patrick's time in the senate is nearing an end, he's as focused-as-ever as he fights for the American people. After leading passage of a bipartisan budget bill, he has turned his attention to fulfilling his constitutional duty by participating in the historic confirmation hearings for Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson.

On top of his senatorial duties, Patrick is also working hard every-day to make sure that he leaves the senate in good hands next year. With all on his plate, I know that he'll enjoy taking a moment to feel celebrated by seeing folks from across the country sign his card.

Please, join me in showing your support and appreciation for Patrick by wishing him a happy birthday before his birthday tomorrow.

Thank you for helping me make Patrick's last birthday in the United State Senate a special one.

Sincerely,

Marcelle Leahy
