I was disgusted by Republicans’ blatantly racist attacks on Judge Kentaji Brown Jackson during her confirmation hearing for the Supreme Court.

We’ve known for a long time that Ted Cruz, Marsha Blackburn, Josh Hawley, Mike Lee, and Tom Cotton are racist, bigoted people with backward ideas about who should be a SCOTUS justice. Still, their performance at the hearings absolutely turned my stomach. Every time I think MAGA Republicans can’t sink any lower, they find a way to prove me wrong.

Clearly, Republicans do not have any interest in carrying out the procedures of our democracy, only performing for their puppet master Donald Trump. We need to unseat them and elect Dems, but to do that, we need resources. So, team, can I count on your support?

Republicans harassed a SCOTUS nominee because she is a Black woman.

I don’t expect much from them, but are you kidding me? As members of the Judiciary Committee, they completely failed at their jobs. Not only did they openly harass Judge Jackson, they entirely neglected to perform the actual duties of the Judiciary Committee as required in a nominee hearing!!

I’m ready to get these people OUT of Congress and hold them accountable, team — but I can’t do it without your help. Will you pitch in today to let me know you’re standing with me?
