John — it’s Braeden, the Development Director here at WFP.
Our end-of-quarter deadline is coming up on Thursday, and we’re still behind on the $210,000 we need to raise to hit our quarterly grassroots fundraising goal.
I’m proud that, together, we are building a party by the many, for the many. Not for the mega-wealthy or the corporations. But we have critical primaries coming up in just a few weeks — and in order to defeat corporate interests and build a real working families majority this year, we need to keep pace and hit this end-of-quarter goal.
Our movement has grown through the generosity of individuals who share our vision, doing what they can. For some folks, that is giving $1 or $3 at a time — while others are able to give more. If you can afford it at this time, will you make a $3 contribution to help WFP meet our end-of-quarter goal?

WFP is working towards a society rooted in equality, dignity, solidarity, and compassion, where everyone has a voice — regardless of how much money you have. This vision requires building governing power by and for the multiracial working class. And it calls for out-organizing corporate donors by pooling our resources together to build our financial independence.
None of us can fund this movement alone, but together we can raise a lot. When you give to WFP now, you are helping us build our vision together — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
We know that different people can step up in different moments – and if you’re someone who can give $3 toward our end-of-quarter goal right now, please do. No matter the amount, your support makes a difference:
