We’re just eight weeks away from election day, and less than five weeks from the start of early voting here in Georgia’s 7th District. That means that in a little more than a month, voters will see my name on the ballot alongside two other Democrats running for Congress – and it’s going to be a sprint to the finish.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that this is expected to be a “competitive” primary election. So, in order to keep my spot in Congress, we have to run this race the old-fashioned way — reaching out directly to the voters – at their doors, on the phone, over the airwaves, and online.

But how much we can do — how many doors we can knock on and how many ads we can get on the air — depends on you. I’m counting on grassroots donors like you John, to help fully fund our campaign over the next eight weeks.
