My sister Penny sent out an “end-of-quarter” email for our dad, Derek, a couple of weeks ago. And I, being the paw-sitively amazing pup that I am, have decided that I’d like to help him out by seeing if I can raise just as much (or maybe even a little more) than Penny!

I heard that Derek's campaign is trying to raise $20,000 before the end of March. And he is running short on time.

I was wondering if you’d be able to contribute to his re-election campaign?

Like Penny, I miss Derek when he’s in D.C. But I know he’s making us both proud pups by fighting for affordable housing, our environment (including my favorite walking spots!), and Social Security for senior citizens.

I would really appreciate it if you could help Derek reach his end-of-quarter goal. I bet if this email (which is very difficult for me to type with paws, by the way) does better than Penny’s, I’ll even get an extra treat or two!

Can you pitch in before the deadline so that my dad can keep fighting for us?
