EPPC Joins Amicus Brief in Case Challenging Transgender Policy in Wisconsin Schools

On March 25, EPPC joined other organizations in filing an amicus curiae brief in the Wisconsin Supreme Court in a case challenging the Madison School District’s transgender policy ofkeeping secret from parents that their children are “transitioning” at school if parents might not provide a “safe” or “supportive” environment, as determined by school personnel and the child.

It is parents that the law presumes know their own children best and are best positioned and motivated to protect and counsel them,” the brief argues. Other organizations joining EPPC on the brief include the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of
the Southern Baptist Convention, Concerned Women for America, the National Legal Foundation, the Pacific Justice Institute, and several state-level policy organizations. Click here to read the full amicus brief.)
