[1]Women's March
Enough is enough,
John.
It's time for the very wealthiest among us to pay their fair share so that
women and working families can finally have a fighting chance.
That is why Women’s March advocates for progressive wealth tax proposals
which will help working women everywhere — like President Biden’s recently
proposed Billionaire Minimum Income Tax, which would level the playing
field for all Americans and narrow the racial wealth gap.
This tax would require that American households worth more than $100
million (literally just the top one-hundredth of 1 percent) start paying
income taxes on the gains in their wealth each year just like workers pay
taxes on their paychecks each year.

programs that help working women and women of color, will you donate right
now to help us reach our $15,000 end of month goal so Women’s March can
continue to fight for bold, feminist leaders, legislation, and causes?

Taxing the ultra-wealthy is common sense,
John. This proposal would
raise $360 billion in revenue over the next 10 years — without raising
taxes on the 99.99% of American households that have net worth below $100
million.
In other words: taxing 20,000 American households who are hoarding wealth,
will benefit hundreds of millions of women and families by reducing the
deficit and allowing room to expand and fund critical community programs.
We believe in social programs that can help women now so we can realize
our feminist future much sooner. Wealth taxes like Biden’s proposed
Billionaire Minimum Income Tax, will allow the government to fund critical
social services to uplift working families, specifically women and people
of color.
Every single day, Women’s March is fighting to build organizing and
political power for everyday women across the country so that we can
march, mobilize, and advocate for bold, feminist legislation like this.
But as a grassroots-powered organization, all of that work depends on the
support of women and allies just like you,
John. It is these kinds of
proposals that we want to push for in 2022, that is why it's so important
we stay on track to meet our $15,000 March goal before midnight on
Thursday.

to help us reach our critical end-of-month goal so we can fund Women's
March's organizing programs and put pressure on our elected officials to
pass budget proposals like the Billionaire Minimum Income Tax.
Keep fighting,
Women’s March
