Defending the Senate majority will take all of us working together

Friends,

We’re emailing today to ask you to chip in a $3 donation ahead of our official FEC fundraising deadline on Thursday.

We hope you'll take a moment and give us a chance to explain why this is so important, but if you are ready to add your support now, you can use this link right away:

The National Republican Senatorial Committee, which is the Senate Republicans' campaign arm, raised over $100 million last year alone. And their push to build up Mitch McConnell’s 2022 war chest to take control of the Senate has only just begun.

With a 50-50 Senate, it only requires flipping ONE seat from Blue to Red for Republicans to win the majority and gavel down all progress on the issues we care about, from bold action on climate change, to lowering prescription drug costs, to confirming qualified judges to our federal courts and more.

So we have to be ready for whatever Mitch and his Super PAC donors are planning to do to win back the Senate gavel — starting with hitting our fundraising goals ahead of this week's first 2022 end-of-quarter FEC deadline.

If we're able to post a strong number once our report goes public, it will show everyone watching that we're ready to defend this Maryland Senate seat and protect our Democratic majority.

We know that $3 may not sound like a lot compared to $100 million, but when everyone pitches in what they can, it all adds up.

That's why we are asking:

Can you please chip in $3 today to help us make sure Mitch McConnell remains Senate Minority leader? Your support enables us to re-elect Chris Van Hollen, defend our Democratic Senate majority, and keep up the work for real progress for families in Maryland and across the country.

CONTRIBUTE $3

Thank you in advance for your support.

- Team Van Hollen
