This is quite the story!

We know we’re making waves when our opponent decides to challenge our candidacy petitions instead of participating in a fair democratic election against us this June. What’s so embarrassing for his team – they failed to do any due diligence. Somehow, they wrongly thought we submitted just 957 signatures.

Then, his campaign team tried to trash us in the press via a release they sent to a local media touting their challenge. That’s until we responded with copies of our more than 2000 signatures. For context, 400 valid signatures are required. Soon after, our opponent withdrew his complaint immediately (and hopefully fired his lawyer).

One thing is clear…Our opponent is afraid of the progress we’ve been making and knows that we’re real contenders come election day.

We have fewer than 100 days to win our campaign to fix Washington…and, friend, does it need fixing! You know our political system isn’t working when an incumbent with $13,000,000 in the bank would rather undermine democratic processes rather than talk to voters…and win their votes. Is this really such a novel concept?
