So here’s why this week is such a big deal:
Republicans are doing whatever it takes to flip the House red — they aren’t afraid to play dirty with voter suppression, partisan gerrymandering, and disinformation campaigns being run earlier than ever. If they succeed, they have promised to undo everything Democrats have done in the last year and a half. We’ll see an end to our progress. Ami is facing a Republican opponent who is focusing all their energy on getting big checks from special interest groups. He’s also acting as Frontline Chair for vulnerable Democrats and is responsible for making sure they mount a strong campaign. In just two days , we’ll be facing our first FEC filing deadline of the election year. Our numbers will be publicly reported for pollsters, pundits, and prospective opponents to see. Now that new district maps are finalized, we don’t have time to waste!
