Today, I want to take a moment to tell you more about our work to re-elect
Cori Bush to Congress.

end-of-quarter fundraising deadline is Thursday at midnight, and we're
running 24% short of our $75,000 goal. Can I count on you to make a
$5 contribution to directly power Cori's work in Congress?

As Team Cori's Political Director, I'm grateful to help lead our work to
grow our progressive movement and keep the first Black Congresswoman from
Missouri in Congress.

With our primary election only four months away, we're connecting with
community leaders, building out our volunteer program, and spreading
Cori's vision of politics across Missouri's first Congressional district.
But our re-election isn't guaranteed, so we're counting on this grassroots
team to support this work.

If you're on the fence about making

to power this campaign, here are just three reasons why your support today
is SO critical.

* Already eight challengers have announced their campaigns against Cori
— including a corporate Democrat who filed yesterday. That means we'll
need the resources to defend against attacks from multiple directions.
* On Thursday, we'll have to publicly report our finances for the first
time this election year — and everyone will be looking to see if our
fundraising numbers mimic the strength of our people-powered movement.
* Cori doesn't accept a cent from corporate PACs because she's 100%
accountable to the people. But that means this grassroots team needs
to have her back — especially before important moments like Thursday's
end-of-quarter fundraising deadline.
