Hi Friend,

Republicans in our state hit a new low every day. I’m sick and tired of reading about all the new ways Texas Republicans are ruining what makes our state special.

That’s why we’re launching the Texas Republican Accountability Fund. Because it’s about time that Texas Republicans face the consequences of their actions. Every dollar we raise means another phone call made, another door knocked, and another Texas voter who will be headed to the polls in November to fire Texas Republicans up and down the ballot.

Here are some of the things Texas Republicans have done over the last year that prove they don’t deserve to lead our state:

  1. Launched a blatantly racist attack on voting rights, quoting Jim Crow slogans during the debate on the House floor.
  2. Cut off access to abortion for millions of Texans and unleashed abortion bounty hunters on our state.
  3. Allowed almost anyone to carry a gun in public with no license, no training, and few guardrails.
  4. Refused to fix the grid and passed the cost off to the rest of us -- leaving us as vulnerable as ever to winter power outages like last year’s and making taxpayers foot the bill.
  5. Forced educators to teach revisionist history to our students, erasing our families’ realities from the curriculum and replacing them with lies.

Friend, we’re quickly approaching our critical end-of-quarter fundraising deadline. That means it’s our first opportunity this year to show Republicans that we’re closing the gap -- that we’re coming for them this November.

So will you rush a $7 contribution to our Texas Republicans Accountability Fund before March 31st to show Greg Abbott and his cronies that they’ll be answering for what they’ve done to our state at the polls this November?

Despite the extremely infuriating actions of Texas Republicans, it’s vital that we take our anger and frustration and use it to elect leaders who care about the people they serve.

This year, we have an opportunity to change our state and, with it, the world. But we can't do it without you.

In solidarity,
