John - I have a bit of a dilemma.

My team just ran the numbers, and our average online donation is down 36% this month. It’s not ideal.

And this honestly could not come at a worse time — between the FEC deadline in 2 days and Republican super PACs announcing unprecedented sums of early spending in this race. We cannot afford to miss a goal and let our opponents crush Cheri with dark money.

We are running this campaign on the strength of lots and lots of grassroots donations — not beholden to corporate PACs. So we have two options to solve this:

• We need a bunch more people to make their first online donation today
• Or we need folks to donate slightly larger amounts

We usually ask first-time online donors to give $3, but if you can dig a bit deeper today, say $10, it would be tremendously helpful.

Will you please consider making a $10 contribution before the FEC deadline in 2 days? We all need to come together to flip this seat for Democrats and send Cheri to the Senate.
