Park

Park Service's highest priorities is developing a workforce that
better reflects the rich mosaic of the American public. The
National Park Service Academy
( [link removed] ) is an innovative and
immersive program designed to introduce diverse undergraduate and
graduate students, ages 18 to 25 from across the country to
career opportunities with the NPS.

This will be the first year that Glacier National Park will be a
host park for the NPS Academy. This summer, student interns in
the NPS Academy will join us here in Glacier National Park to
work in trails, native plant conservation, and interpretation.

Run For Glacier! Two Races Happening This Summer

The Glacier Half Marathon

this summer on Saturday, June 25. Support the park by signing up
for a charity bib

Wander Project! Not only do you get to support Glacier while
having some fun outdoors, but your race fee will also be waived.

The new Cedar Creek Marathon and Half Marathon

will take place on Saturday, September 24. As a benefit, Logan
Health is donating 10% of race proceeds to the Glacier National

STEAM Camp for Middle School Girls June 23-25

Glacier National Park and Glacier Institute are partnering again
to provide a summer STEAM camp
( [link removed] ) for 6-8th grade girls at
Big Creek Outdoor Education Center from June 23-25. This is a
free camp thanks to very generous donations to the Glacier
Conservancy.

During a three-day, overnight camp, participants will learn from
Glacier National Park and Glacier Institute staff about Glacier’s
cultural resources–specifically the science of archeology. Apply

2022.

Join us in celebrating National Park Week

! This year, the National Park Service will celebrate National
Park Week April 16-24 at the country's 400+ national parks,
including Glacier National Park. There will be free park entrance
on Saturday, April 16. Here at the Glacier Conservancy, we will
be celebrating all week with some fun events. Check out the full
