John, I'll cut to the chase:

I'm reaching out to ask you to make a contribution to Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan's re-election campaign before our first public fundraising deadline of the year on Thursday.

I wouldn't be asking if it wasn't 100% necessary, but your support right now could be the difference between reaching our goal or coming up short and facing a devastating public setback.

Republicans know this year's midterm election is the best chance they've had in decades to flip Minnesota red, and they're showing us exactly what's at stake if they succeed.

They're doubling down on Donald Trump's Big Lie, attacking abortion rights, want to make it easier for dangerous people to get guns, pledging to undo Governor Walz and Lt. Governor Flanagan's efforts to combat climate change, and more.

To be clear, the GOP's extreme views are wildly out of step with the values of Minnesotans. But this is a midterm election where Democrats control the White House, and we always knew it would be close – and the most recent polling confirms that. 

When our year-to-date fundraising numbers are made public for the first time shortly after Thursday, they must send the undeniable message that Minnesotans won't let this Republican Party drag us backward without a fight.

We still need to raise more than $24,000 to reach our goal with three days to go. Please rush a donation that works for you right away to help us finish strong if you're able. We’re counting on you, John.
