Team, you might think this is a headline from five years ago. It’s not. It’s from earlier this month. Some Republicans want to again prioritize repealing the Affordable Care Act if they take back full control in Washington.

We have to take threats like this seriously. We’re nearing the end of the quarter, and everyone's waiting to see if Democrats will have the resources to protect our majority. We’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 before midnight on March 31 to prove we have the momentum going into the election season.

Last year, Virginia Republicans said exactly what they’d do if they retook power — roll back as much of what Democrats had done in the previous four years as possible.

They won the Governor’s race and control of the House of Delegates, and they’ve used this power to try to restrict voting rights, roll back common sense gun control laws, and prevent a planned minimum wage increase from going into effect.

There are real consequences if we don’t win elections. If Republican Senators are talking about trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act, that is exactly what they will try to do.
