I'm delighted to invite you to this year's edition of the NYCI Youth Arts Summer School where we will focus on
 digital music, song writing and recording.

When & where: 
2 residential days in Maynooth University: May 26th & 27th +
2 online workshops: May 18th & Sept 15th

This programme for youth workers and youth arts practitioners will give you the practical and creative skills to set up recording hubs in your own youth space and lead young people through their own engagement with song writing and production.

The summer school will help you to:
  • Develop creative new approaches that enhance your work with young people. 
  • Gain practical in-depth workshop experiences which will develop your skills in digital music production and technology 
  • Learn how to communicate the science of sound in ways that inspire young people’s curiosity
  • Gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead young people through their own engagement with song writing and production... and more!
